The importance of mindful breathing
today I want to point out the importance of intentional breath work.
With correct breathing you can influence the parasympathetic nervous system. The parasympathetic nervous system is responsible for regulating the body's unconscious actions. It´s responsible for stimulation of "rest-and-digest" or "feed and breed" activities that occur when the body is at rest.
It should be starting point of every mindfulness exercise and correctly mastered it is such a powerful tool and even as a stand alone instrument it can help control e.g. panic attacks.
